World is changing...So the management

Blindness is not always a misery. It gives the ability to concentrate.

Modern management is focused more towards hiring the blind folded people which do not interfere in decision-making process of the company. It is also observed that management prefers group of people to perform a task rather than an individual. The reason of this change lies in the difference in the performance of the two.

Viz-a-viz comparison between the old and modern management-
It is observed that employees which are not involved in the decision making process are more efficient in the work that they do. It reduces the work pressure upon them and dependency upon the employees reduces to certain extent.

Example:-
Project in any IT organization are of two types
 1. Fixed Billing project  2. Time and Money Project

Fixed billing project is of a kind in which billing is fixed and number of employees are decided by the organization. I have seen employees working upon three projects simultaneously in fixed billing project. It helps the companies to get more work done by employees in a less price. Addition to it employees have an advantage of knowledge that they gain out of working upon different projects .


Drawbacks:-

Thought there are certain drawbacks with the modern management.It reduces the skill set of the employees by not giving them an opportunity to take full responsibility of the work. This might lead to non satisfaction at the later stage.


Solution :-

This kind of situation can be avoided by the managers by appreciation and awards.Employee friendly HR policies would also be very helpful in this regard.
